Message	A stock Nissan shortblock can handle 500 hp at the rear wheels with no problem as long as the car is tuned properly and nothing goes wrong. Proper maintence, assembling everything correctly, and a suitable tune are the key. A built motor basically gives you insurance in the even something goes wrong and it pings etc. If you beat on your car regularly things tend to happen and you may need that insurance.
